Well, I'm going to try to be a bit more active around here. I've been dealing with all sorts of "fun" things, so I've been too busy to really be online or do any drawing or cosplay.

However! I should at least begin drawing again in the near future...within the week hopefully. I'm not sure when my next convention is, given my awesome ability to be poor as hell. I'll be sure to update in regards to that as well.

Due to financial restraints (i.e. I'm poor), I will be unable to attend Otakon this year. I apologize to anyone who was looking forward to seeing any of my cosplays. I will be sure to update in the future if and when I am able to attend a con.

I just listened to Ulquiorra's English voice...*sob*

He sounds absolutely flamboyant and gay compared to the Japanese voice. XD I miss the deeper, brooding sound, but I'm biased. XD

He just sounds too young...I dunno, we'll see.

I'm a few weeks late, but I finally saw the new Bleach opening. The video goes well with the song, but the opening seems out of place...the whole thing is fan service, showing a majority of the characters in sexy snapshots..which is awesome, but it doesn't seem to fit with the story. XD

Also, Rukia, Orihime and Matsumoto remind me of Bond girls or something in the video. XD XD The opening reminds me of the recent Naruto Shippuuden ending in a way, but maybe that's just me.

Ok, so I went to the cosplay event at my mall on Sunday. I had a lot of fun; they had anime trivia and a cosplay contest. I went as Byakuya since quite honestly I didn't feel like spending 2 hours to get into makeup as Ulquiorra for a 1 hour contest. Gina won first place for the cosplay, and someone else won the trivia...I think they worked there, since they knew the answers before the questions were even finished. XD

Gina received a $20 gift card to the store, so that was cool. ^^ Afterwards, we walked around the mall and sat at the food court, watching everyone stare at us awkwardly. XD I loved it...people would stop us and take our pictures, and I had a nice conversation with the clown who sells balloons at the food court.

There's an event being held at my mall on Sunday, April 19th for cosplay, and a lot of people wind up going to it. I've never gone before, but I'm gonna go out and see what it's all about. They have cosplay contests, prizes etc., and it sounds like a lot of fun. ^^

I'll be cosplaying Ulquiorra, unless I can't get a ride, in which case I'll do Byakuya, since I can't drive while wearing all the makeup and the hollow mask.

I'm really looking forward to it, and I'll be sure to post pics of mine and everyone else's cosplay. ^^
